Dattner Grant works with people at all levels towards creating real engagement. We work with leaders and staff to build business acumen, superb internal and external relationships, character, purpose and values that hold people in community.
The original business was founded by Fabian Dattner in 1990. Dattner Grant was subsequently formed when Jim Grant joined in late-1997. Both the partners and the team working directly with clients have vast leadership experience. Our business has a diverse team of people catering for our clients' needs.

This DVD offers an important insight into the workings of Dattner Grant - from strategy to leadership to the engagement of the broader community - through the voice of the company's founders, people and clients.
Our purpose is to amplify emerging voices. At its core this is about trusting people and working with them. We believe that many voices need to be amplified in the world today, and that leaders need the skills to engage all their people and to work with them, not do things to them.
- The core values we live out in our own organisation are business acumen, fairness, courage, learning and growth, and making a difference - fighting for a better world.
- Purpose, values and direction engage people emotionally and the quality of relationship management (internal and external) is the measure of leadership effectiveness at all levels. Shrewd business acumen (as valid in the not-for-profit as in the corporate) is the enabler. Character and self-awareness are the cornerstones.
