Central to Dattner Grant’s programs, both in the Leadership and Culture suite of services and also in the Compass leadership program for women, purpose and values play an instrumental role. Here we explore participants’ sense of self and why they lead (or, in some cases, should lead). We help participants to articulate and understand the values that drive, influence and motivate them as people and as leaders.
In an organisational context, we explore organisational purpose and values as drivers of behaviour and enablers of strategy. Through a values elicitation process, we support leadership teams to articulate core organisational values, the behaviours to support them, and the measures to incorporate those behaviours into performance appraisal processes.
In our women’s program, Compass, values are explored as a critical lever for helping participants understand why they do what they do. Often operating in environments that conflict with core values, participants can find a new sense of motivation, direction and clarity off the back of the Purpose and Values module.
